Lees Place Board

Lee’s Place Board members volunteer in many ways to support our small and very busy practice. Board members spend hours supporting the operations of Lee’s Place doing things like conducting an annual strategic planning session, reviewing fiscal and program activities, reviewing and editing governing documents, staffing fund raisers, representing Lee’s Place at community events, and working in the Lee’s Place garden. After our deck and gazebo were destroyed by storm activity in 2017, board members helped solicit the Tallahassee Builders Association’s “We Care” program to rebuild this important part of the garden. When there is a need, the board does all it can to get materials and services donated, or to do the work themselves. No job is too big or too small.
